The Town Center Corte Madera – Site Lighting Project was a renovation to the existing parking lot lighting at Town Center Corte Madera. The parking lot surrounds the four buildings of the shopping center. MK2 began the project with a study to examine the options for replacing the existing parking lot lighting with new LED fixtures that reused the existing concrete piers. MK2 also provided an analysis of the energy savings that would result from the transition to LED fixtures. After the study, MK2 worked with the owner to communicate the scope of the project to the Town’s Planning Commission for their approval and followed with providing construction documents for the lighting replacement. The overall project, from the study to the end of construction, took less than a year.
