This first stage of the expansion was a fast track, addition of 12 fermentation tanks. MK2 Engineers designed process waste and all process utility piping, including process cold and hot water, compressed air, hot and cold glycol, nitrogen and CO2 distribution systems.

One of the goals was to incorporate into the design future facility expansion.

The last phase of the Fermentation Facility expansion added 1.5 million gallons to the production capacity.

MK2 Engineers provided construction documents for process waste, all process utility, CO2 evacuation and night cooling. We provided design for electrical and control systems, which was seamlessly integrated w/ electrical, and control systems serving existing facility.
