The French Laundry – rated the best restaurant in the world,
is located in the heart of the Napa Valley in the picturesque City
of Yountville. Uncompromised quality, lack of space and preservation
of tranquility of the restaurant and its garden, made the expansion
of the kitchen, updating restaurant HVAC system and new Office building
a unique challenge.
We used geo-loop heat exchanger to provide pre-cooling
for kitchen make-up units and to serve dining rooms heat pumps. The
design covered HVAC, plumbing and Fire Protection. MK2 Engineers closely assisted in construction administration.
