MK2 Engineering, Inc. is a Napa,
California consulting engineering firm specializing in innovative,
energy efficient design of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire
protection systems for wineries, schools, commercial buildings
and healthcare facilities.
To date, MK2 Engineering, Inc. has designed over 200 projects throughout California.
With its core of professional engineers and senior designers the firm is able
to offer a wide variety of expertise and experience.
Locally, MK2 has provided engineering services for Niebaum-Coppola
Estate Vineyard and Winery, Ravenswood Winery, Palmaz Family Winery,
Napa River Inn, The Hatt Market, Angele Restaurant, The French
Laundry, the Napa County Office of Education and Oxbow School.

QUALITY CONTROL
MK2 has a record of excellent performance in terms of cost control,
quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules. As
a matter of policy, the construction cost for all projects is
estimated before proceeding with the design and a detailed scope
of work. This initial effort helps to determine a realistic construction
budget and an appropriate period of service for design.

TECHNOLOGY CAPABILITIES
MK2 has used AutoCAD as the primary engineering document software
over 20 years. We use state of the art software for Design, 3D,
office systems, customer relationships, resource planning, Project
Administration, accounting and financial management. We utilize
in house high speed plotters and an FTP site for transfer of
large drawing files to consultants, contractors, and clients.
EXPERTISE
In addition to conventional HVAC, plumbing, electrical
and fire protection, MK2 Engineering, Inc. offers a wide range
of additional services including project management, energy conservation,
feasibility studies, regulatory agency approval and construction
management.
